Holistic is coined from a Greek word, 'holos', meaning 'whole' or 'complete' and refers to the fact that there is more to us than our physical body; the ‘whole’ of us is an interconnectedness of the body, mind and spirit.
I personally have had regular holistic counselling sessions for 30 years or so, although it has only been given this name more recently.
Today I recognise how I was gently guided to examine my thoughts and beliefs, values, experiences and spirituality, to move towards a healthier way of thinking and living. Sometimes this felt quite painful and challenging, and I cried buckets at times, yet looking back over the journey I realise how much it improved the way I lived my life.
Today I continue to have these sessions so that I can bring clarity and awareness to my own role as a holistic counsellor.
how it works
As your counsellor, my goal is always to provide a safe space where you can feel deeply heard, supported and validated. Listening is my forte and skill, enabling me to ask questions that encourage you to dig deep and examine what is working, what is not working and where you may be ready to embrace change.
Once we have explored an issue, we may then use a variety of tools which could include meditation, Bowen Therapy or energy balancing to integrate and anchor changes across the whole spectrum of body, mind and spirit.

Rates / Pricing
initial session (up to 90 minutes)
$90
follow up sessions (60 minutes)
$80
If a session extends by up to 15 minutes there is no extra fee.
I suggest a minimum of three sessions spaced weekly, to support change and integration of new energies. For some people three sessions may be all that is required, whilst for others sessions may need to be ongoing as they work on resolving an issue or finding a sense of balance amid the stresses of daily living.
